Leah Barlow - Process Engineer

I started with Orica in 2004 on the graduate program as
a Process Design Engineer with Engineering Shared Services working on
the following projects - Yarwun Sodium Cyanide 60,000 tpa
Plant Uprate, Yarwun Emulsion Product (EP) Plant Uprate and the Kemira
Nitric Acid Plant Relocation (working in Denmark 3 months).
I
moved to Yarwun at the start of 2005 to be part of the commissioning
team for the Sodium Cyanide Plant Uprate and then moved across to
Mining Services at the end of 2005 to become the Commissioning Engineer
for the No.3 Nitric Acid Plant at Yarwun.
At the
start of 2006 I accepted a permanent role in Yarwun as the Process
Engineer responsible for the Nitric Acid Plants and then in 2008
accepted the role of AN Complex Operations Manager responsible for the
3 Nitric Acid, 2 Ammonium Nitrate, Emulsion Manufacturing plants, OBL
and operations team.
