In 2009, Orica hired a number of talented final year students and recent graduates in Latin America. This marked the start of Orica´s Global Graduate Program in Latin America and opportunity for our Jóvenes Talentos to find a world of opportunity with the world´s largest explosives company. Our program, Jóvenes Talentos will provide you with real work and exciting possibilities from day one. As part of your two year program you will have the opportunity to undertake different work placements along with personal and professional development. Who are we looking for?
Typically we are looking for people who have recently graduated, or are in who are in the final year of study. For our 2009 intake we are looking for engineers of many disciplines:
- Ingeniería
- De Minas,
- Eléctrónica,
- Química,
- Mecánica y
- Civil
- Comercial
- Industrial
However in the future as we expand our program we will be looking for talented people from other disciplines also, including finance, human resources, logistics and others.
We are about attracting the best, so we are looking for people who not only have good university results, but also personal attributes in team work, leadership and innovation. An intermediate level of English is necessary as we are about developing talent globally and yes you need to be prepared to be mobile. Fit with our culture, developed entirely by the people of Orica is also really important.
